We went to Matty Gundersen's 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Jonathan had a great time, he loved it in the ball pit.

Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Yesterday was a great day. It was exactly 12 days till Christmas so we got our decorations out of the loft to put them up. Whilst we were putting them up we put my old Christmas record on, my and Buddy was dancing around the living room whilst Tony did the tree. Tony found my mistletoe head boppers which I put on and Jonathan loved them. Jonathan loves the lights on the tree too.
The evening was just as good. We had a taster session and the Christmas draw at Slimming World. I helped Carol with the draw which I won twice, I won a smellies set and a box of wine gums. The fruit baskets we got from the veggie shop was fantastic. Carol has decided that it will be nice to get a basket every week from them alternating between fruit and veg. It will be great for the shop and less hassle for Carol making the draw prize up each week.

Normal?
I've been fine all day but suddenly it seems like I've passed Jonathan over to Tony. That I don't want to feed, change his nappy, put him to bed etc. Is this normal for someone with PND??
We recieved our wedding album and canvas in the post on Thrusday it looks great.
I had a bad night Thursday night, I really couldn't settle so ended up reading my book till early hours of the morning. I also had thoughts of running away. I have no idea why I love my family so much I'd hate to leave them.
I started off feeling dodgy yesterday I think my bad night unsettled me but as the day went on I managed to pull myself out of it. We went to Waitrose in the afternoon to spend the £75 of supercheques Tony got from work. By the time we got home I felt much better so in the evening we went to the slimming world Christmas party.
Wendy's daughter Jen came to babysit little man for us. I had to go home briefly at the beghinning of the night as Jonathan was sick and really screaming but thankfully once I had changed his sleeping bag and given him cuddles he settled down OK and we ended out till gone 11pm. Not bad for someone who wasn't sure if I could face it.

50/50
It's been a bit of an up and down day today. Tony bless him stayed up after his night shift to give me a lay in as I had a bad night last night. I was feeling down because all evening after getting home I was on my own. Tony was working, Jonathan was in bed and Buddy stayed in his bed in the kitchen all evening so felt a bit down. Tony came back in his break though to try and make me feel a bit better.
After lunch we both took Jonathan to the rainbow room at the childrens centre. He had a great time watching the bubbles and chewing the fibre optics. He also kept bumping his head on the mirror as he was trying to get to the family in the mirror (us).
When we got home Tony went to bed for a couple of hours and I gave Jonathan his bottle and put him upstairs for a nap. He napped for about an hour and then he came down a played for about half hour by which time he was showing signs he was really tired again, so I tried to put him up for another nap. He wouldn't settle so after 15 minutes I bought him back downstairs but everything I tried he wasn't happy with. I started to feel a bit defeated but thankfully Jonathan finally decided he was happy if he was laying on me whilst I lay on the sofa. Little Monkey!!

Another good day
Had a doctors appointment today. He was really pleased with how I've come on, he said he hasn't seen me this well for a while. Made my first appointment for depression counselling for the 4th Jan. Went to see Debbie at the children's centre she confirmed that I've had a really good week and most of it has been due to me giving myself a push and also recognising that I shouldn't commit to something and just see if I feel up to it on the day and also she agreed keeping a blog was a good idea and a good way to help me remember the good days.
Got a few things done at home today as well. I'm really pleased with myself.

A good day
I think the tablets may have kicked in, I've had a good day today. Tony bless him stayed up till 10am even though he had just finished a busy night shift. He took both boys for a walk and then put Jonathan down for a nap and joined me for a cuddle in bed. I got up and straight away felt better than I have for a while.
When Jonathan got up we both had some dinner. Then I decided to take Jonathan to Busy Babies. I knew our project worker Debbie would be there so I thought it was a good day to take that step as I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow. I managed to stay at the club for the whole time leaving just 5 minutes before the end because Jonathan was tired and wanted a bottle. I joined in conversations and felt OK for most of it. There was the odd time I felt a bit uncomfortable but a reassuring smile from Debbie and I felt a bit better.
I've sorted the dishwasher out and sorted Jonathan's clothes out which Tony had already put in the wash they just needed drying and sorting.
I'm really pleased with how today has gone

Stars
Was having a bit of a down day but after Tony took Jonathan to Tescos and I had a nap I felt a bit better and managed to play with Jonathan on the floor for a bit. I would stack up his stars and he would come and knock them down and then I rolled about on the floor with him as he was laughing his head off. Going to go to Slimming World tonight

Crawling
Jonathan is crawling now. This means he is quicker to get away from his toys so he can play with buddys bones, wires and remotes. He's such a little monkey
PND
It seems like I have Post natal depression. The doctors have put me on some antidepressants. I've set up a meeting with the family support worker at the children's centre. We met her yesterday she's called Debbie and really friendly. She showed us the Rainbow room which is a sensory room full on light and flashy things, Jonathan loved the bubble tube which changes colour. I can book the room for just us in hour timeslots which would be good for both of us as it gets us out of the house and if I am having a particularly hard day then it means I go out but don't necessarily have to face anyone. Debbie also said I need to try to remember any good times we have whilst I am ill so that it encourages me so I will probably use my blog a lot more to try and remember these good times so that I know I don't only have bad times.

"Turn that frown upside down and do a little dance"
I drove Tony to work tonight so I can keep the car incase I need to take the boys for a drive. Buddy is really hating fireworks he goes mental crying and pacing the house. We weren't sure how Jonathan was going to react but thankfully by the time we got home from taking Tony to work the local display had finished, it didn't stop Buddy crying whilst I was putting Jonathan to bed, thankfully all I had to do was to take his mind off it when I came down by playing games and getting him to do tricks.
Jonathan has been experiencing messy play the last couple of days with cornflour, water, food colouring and glitter he loves it. Tonight when I took him upstairs to bed he was really tired I put him on his changing mat to strip him off for his bath, he wasn't happy and started grumbling so I sang to him "Turn that frown upside down and do a little dance" whilst drawing on his face with my finger a frown then a smile and then I did a wiggle. He absolutely loved it and giggled loads and then he had his bath and splashed lots and lots. He settled down to sleep so easily

Our big baby boy
Jonathan now weighs 21lb 4oz. Me and Tony had a bet on how much he weighed, Tony said 23lb and I said 21lb 8oz, I obviously won. Jonathan is really trying to crawl now, he's been up on all fours a few times but that's as far as it gets at the moment before he gets frustrated.

19lb 8oz!!!!
Our baby boy has got his first tooth coming through bless him but he's been really good. He's just been dribbling lots and chewing everything.
Jonathan is eating lots of solids now, he generally has 3 meals and snacks and has about 3 bottles in the day including his bedtime bottle. We got him weighed yesterday and he weighs 19lb 8oz. Such a chunky monkey.
I signed up to take my Biology Science GCSE using distance learning today. It costs a fair bit but I'm really looking forward to doing it, I will get my grade this time, I am determined.

Ireland
We deicided to go to Ireland for our honeymoon, partly because that's where Tony's Mum's side of the family are from but also neither of us had been there before.
We stayed in a holiday cottages in Bettystown, County Meath. The cottages have a private gate which led onto the beach. First we were in Honeymoon Cottage. It was very sweet but after a couple of days we had some technical issues. When I phoned the people who ran it they decided to put us in Rose Cottage. It was so much nicer and bigger. We want to go back again one day.
We went to Dublin, Battle of Boyne site, Bru na Boinne (mounds older than the pyramids to do with the soltice), Laytown Races (the only horse races on the sand) which we were given two free tickets for and we went to Belvedere House. We were really disappointed with Belvedere House but we really enjoyed the other parts of our honeymoon.
We went out to dinner on our 1 week anniversary. We went to a bar and grill. The food was gorgeous. For starters we shared some calamari. Then for mains Tony had lamb shank with spinach and creamy mash and I had Fillet steak salad. It was all so fantastic and such big portions we couldn't have a desert. We were too full.

Mrs Wiss!!
We did it we are now married!!!
The wedding day was amazing, everything went exactly how I planned it. I was surprisingly really calm in the morning although I couldn't really eat much, everyone bugged me until I had eaten a slice of toast. The only time I started feeling really nervous was after I had my dress on, we still had half an hour to wait before the car was due. Bryony got us playing word association to stop me from feeling sick with nerves. It worked. The car was gorgeous it was much better and comfier than I imagined.
When we arrived at Haldon Belvedere I just wanted to go up and start the ceremony but we had to have some photos done and also I had to go through a couple of things with the registrars. Finally we were allowed up but it seemed ages to get through the intro of my entrance music which was Greensleeves. The ceremony was perfect, neither of us fainted or had any problems saying our vows and Jonathan was being really good.
Next it was the trial of getting people organised for the photos. At the point when it was my families turn the were nowhere to be seen, until we looked up and saw them all waving at us from the roof of the castle. Finally we managed to get all the group photos done. The next thing was to get them to leave so that we could get some photos done of just the two of us.
The reception went perfectly apart from a bit of a mix up with the menus but it all got sorted in the end. Everyone loved the cake and was impressed that we made it ourselves.
We then went of to spend our wedding night in Coombe House. It was beautiful there we both wished we had booked it for longer than one night.

Mmmmm fooooooood
Our baby boy is eating really well now. Today for breakfast he had wheetabix with whole milk and a bit of toast before throwing the remaining toast on the floor for the woof. For lunch he had puréed carrot and a banana and apple purée for pud and some rice cakes he's now fast asleep in his bouncy chair I think it helped the fact that he has eaten so well today. He's only had one bottle of 6oz today and it's already nearly 1pm.

Scan day today
Jonathan is growing up so quickly, he's now in his own cot in his nursery, he's eating breakfast and lunch as solids and sometimes an afternoon snack. he can also sometimes sit on his own and turn from his tummy to his back. He's only been in his cot a couple of nights but both nights he has managed to turn round still on his back but his feet in a different place, last night he had his feet the opposite end to the way he was laid but also he had worked his way up the other end oft the cot. Considering he can't crawl or turn from his back to belly this is quite a feat. Jonathan now weighs 17lb 8. Whilst on holiday on Isle of Wight Jonathan decided to practice playing the organ at his Granny's
I did the race for life on 24th July, unfortunately doing this I have been in pain ever since I went to the doctors two days later and they think it's gallstones. I was referred for a scan and the letter finally came through giving me a date of 24th August. I phoned up and managed to get myself on the cancellation list but there was still no guarantee I would get an earlier appointment. On the 10th I ended up going to the hospital in the evening because of the pain I was in, after seeing 2 nurses and finally the doctor I at last got them to fax my GP to try to get them to phone through to prioritize me. The next day I was to phone the GP to get them to do something, whilst at the dentist the next day i had a missed call from GP saying he was doing all he could to get me prioritised by the time i got home i had a call from the scan department, giving me a new appointment which is today :D It means I can't eat though for 6 hours :(
Debbie is still pregnant, she is now 9 days overdue, she going to have a sweep done on Tuesday and then if that doesn't work she'll be induced on Saturday, I can't wait to meet my niece/nephew

First day in Snowdonia
Got to Wales yesterday, a journey that should've taken 4 and a half hours actually took EIGHT!! Every motorway we went on was just crawling. we were stuck on the M5 for about 1 hour. Thankfully though the hotel and area is worth it. We had a wonderful welcome from the owner who seems to do a bit of everything around here. The room is lovely and very comfy. With beautiful views.
Jonathan was so good in the car he barely grizzled at all unless he was hungry as he slept most of the way. He still slept most of the night though waking up at 2.30am for a feed and then again at 6.30am. We were so proud of our baby boy.
We went to the Snowdon Railway today. It is a steam or diesel train which takes you to the top of Snowdon. The views going up were amazing, they would've been at the top too but unfortunatly the visability was poor.

Full time Mummy
Made the decision today. I have resigned from Superdrug to become a full time Mum. There's a number of reasons why I came to this decision #1 Anne and Michelle are driving me crazy and upset me with the way they treat me #2 and most importantly I don't want to miss any steps in Jonathan's life, he is growing up so quickly and I would be devastated if I missed the most important steps. It will give us lots of quality time and I can take him swimming and to baby and toddler groups. It is also means we'll save a fair bit of money for 2 reasons, #1 we won't have to pay for childcare which is currently working out more then I earn, #2 I'm selling my car which means I'll save on the running costs. I will be sharing Tony's car.
We're going on holiday tomorrow, I can't wait.

My favourite people
I love being a Mummy. Every time I see Jonathan do something new I get tears in my eyes. I was looking at some old photos of him with Tony this morning and I can't believe how much he has grown. he's going to be 5 months old in 11 days. Buddy is amazing with Jonathan and I know Jonathan loves Buddy, they both watch each other when they are moving around the room.
Jonathan can sit in his pushchair like a big boy now.
Me and Jonathan went with Mum, Dad, Sharyn and Trish to Blenheim Palace in Oxford for a memorial day for Grandma's birthday. It was a really lovely day. We had a picnic which was healthier then I expected. I think Grandma would've enjoyed it as Blenheim Palace was one of her favourite places to visit. There was a butterfly and bird area where there was some beautiful and large butterflies. We didn't see any birds though.
We took Buddy and Jonathan to the CCA fields for the classic car show. There was a fun dog show there we entered Buddy into 3 categories which were, Just Because, Waggiest Tail and Sausage Race. He got white rosettes for the first two for taking part although he didn't win and he got a blue rosette for coming 2nd in the Sausage Race because he is a greedy dog, the only reason he didn't get 1st was because when eating the 1st bit of sausage he also wanted the plate until he realised there was more sausage waiting to be eaten.

June update
Tony's got into jam making lately, so far he's made gooseberry and Cherry brandy. My favourite is the Cherry brandy he only made it this morning and I've just tested it. Yummy yum!!
Jonathan's been a bit of a grump today but he's still as cute as ever. He can stand when holding onto my hands now, he's so strong. he's also trying really hard to communicate with us with lots of gurgles and 'Gah's.
I had my hen weekend last month. We went to the casino in Southampton on the Saturday, it was great fun, the food was amazing and they gave me some balloons (I lost one of them :( ) Then on the Sunday I went ice skating with Mum and Geraldine, Geraldine decided she wanted to use the penguins that kids use when learning to skate, she still fell over. Then it was my turn to fall over, I landed flat on backside and it got confirmed by the hospital 2 weeks later that my coccyx was in fact broken. We then went bowling.
After being at the hospital I was given a letter to give to work stating I couldn't do anything strenuous including pushing the trolleys. Every one at work was fine with it to begin with but yesterday Anne one of the women I work with was really arsey about it, she was saying things about the fact that I had to push Jonathan's pushchair, how long will it take to heal etc. She just wouldn't stop, I ended up in tears to the Assistant Manager and leaving work earlier. It upset Tony as well he just wants me to be happy.

Jonathan
We got Jonathan's pictures back yesterday and picked which one we wanted to have in the paper. They're all very cute but I was a bit annoyed that they chose for us which ones were enlarged, we bought them any way as it means we have the disk with all his photos and we own the copyright. Once we had collected them we went to Kodak and chose which one of the CD we wanted as a canvas. The canvas's were buy one get one free so we're getting the same for Mum and Dad. We can also make up key-rings and magnets.

On the 14th Jonathan weighed 10lb 8, he's doing really well now I'm so pleased. He's smiling now and laughing silently. He's also making gaga sounds. Our little boy is growing so fast every time he passes a milestone a have tears in my eyes. I'm so soppy. We're going to go get his photo done today for the Express and Echo's Baby and Toddler competition.

My Family
Jonathan is now 7 weeks and 3 days old. At the last weigh 1 week ago he weighed a very healthy 9lb 7. We are in the process of switching onto formula milk with added thickener, we discovered my breast milk and the formula on its own was too thin so Jonathan wasn't digesting it properly but he seems much better with the thicker feeds. He is becoming a lot more alert now, he will look at us more and be awake for longer in the day. He is also starting to outgrow some of his clothes so I bought a couple of things for the lovely warm weather.
We have had a few really lovely days this week, the weather has been gorgeous reaching temperatures of 27C, which Tony has been using to grow our vegetable patch. We are know growing a stock of:
Brussel Sprouts
Carrotts
Parsnips
Maris Piper Potatoes
Onions
Garlic
Grapes
Blackcurrant
Raspberries
Tony is also growing Sunflowers, he got me to pick one each for Jonathan and Buddy and also one for myself, he's labelled them so as they grow we know who's is who's.
I finished putting the wedding invites together today, I even made one for Mum and Dad which I have to admit I am quite proud of myself as I have never made a card before.

Unwell baby boy
Jonathan's not been very well the last few days, the doctor reckons he has a tummy bug but I'm not too sure as he seems to feel worse as the day goes on, I'm wondering if I'm eating something that doesn't agree with him, spoke to the health visitor today and she asked me to keep note of everything that happens this evening eg. crying, nappies, feeds and sickness so that she can give me more advice. He gets to the point in the evenings where he will cry for at least a couple of hours, it's starting to really get me down, I'm fine during the day it's just in the evening the last couple of evenings I've ended up crying too hence why I asked the HV her advice.
On the plus side Jonathan is still putting on weight, he now weighs 7lb 12 so nearly 1lb weight gain since his birth which I am really happy about, it's great that he's put this weight on even though he is being sick a lot so at least he's some goodness out of it.
Tony went back to work Tuesday for 4 days before he is on holiday, it's been OK so far, I was quite worried but I think I'm coping fine.

fundraising
Why is it that when other people are raising money for charities they expect you to sponsor them but as soon as you try to do anything sponsored they don't respond.
Along with a few other people I'm losing weight to raise money for SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity). It's an amazing cause and helps family and friends who have suffered the loss of a child. I don't want people to sponsor their who bank account but so far the only person who can be bothered is Tony. It's not as though it's difficult to sponsor me, it can be done on-line or I have a form they can fill in. I've messaged everyone on facebook but nothing.
I'm also wanting to do race for life in July with some family members but not sure if I'm going to get any sponsorship for 2 reasons, #1 the lack of interest in sponsoring me for SANDS and #2 it is close to the time I'm raising money for SANDS so will they get annoyed that I am asking for sponsorship so close to each other?
I really want to support both charities but it's so hard to support when others don't support your efforts. Those people are meant to be my friends and family!!

Jonathan's update
Jonathan is 10 days old today and weighing 7lb 2. which is brill, he keeps being sick after feeds but at least it goes to show he's getting the good stuff from my milk.
He's been very spoilt by family and friends, he got a lovely teddy bear from his Aunty Debbie. It's very cute.
We've had a few people visiting as well, we had Grandma and Grandad Arnott and Aunty Debbie visiting last Saturday, then we had Bryony come to stay for 4 days, and Granny Wisson came yesterday and went home today and Ana and Wayne visited briefly today. We've been sent more cards then we've ever received along with money and gift cards. Jonathan is one lucky baby boy.
I've been suffering a bit the last 10 days, I had a 1st degree tear and some grazing which has been really slow to heal which of course means it's been really sore. I was prescribed some antibiotics in case of infection but my swab thankfully came back clear. Today hasn't been too bad where pain is concerned though so hopefully it's starting to sort itself out.
Our midwife Mel came round for the last time today, she's now signed us over to the Health visitor. It's quite sad not being under Mel any more, never mind we'll see her next Saturday as we've been asked to appear at her next antenatal class as she thinks we are a good inspiration and have a good birth story to share.

I'm a Mummy
I can't believe it!!
on the 15th Feb my waters broke at 12noon, I couldn't believe how much there was they were going for hours. I had no contractions though so at 4pm we went to the hospital just to get checked out and to book an induction. The induction was booked 10.30am the following day but we didn't make it that far. At 8pm I started getting my contractions, they were nothing like the ones I had with the false labours these seriously hurt! I only left it for about half hour before phoning the labour ward, I was told to go in. The trip down the motorway was interesting to say the least.
We got to the hospital at about 9pm and was given gas and air fairly quickly, and moved into the delivery suite. at about 11pm I was given the option of the birthing pool which was what I wanted so managed to walk along the corridor just about making it before screaming out in pain as I wasn't able to use my gas and air whilst changing room. Once I got in the pool I felt a lot more relaxed so much so that in between contractions Tony had to keep my head above the water, Tony also said at one point you're going to want one of these at home now aren't you, my response was a very big nod.
After 4 and a half hours of labour I gave birth to our gorgeous baby boy who we've named Jonathan Antony. he weighed 6lb 13 and was born at 0038 16th February.
Tony is already an amazing Daddy, we came home yesterday and we will go for a walk to the corner shop this afternoon.

Wedding stuff
Had the midwife yesterday, she was really happy with everything, I'm measuring right and Crumpets heartbeat was great. I had to book another appointment for 2 weeks time at which point I'll be 39 weeks and then if nothing has happened she'll see me again the following week to discuss possibilities of having some sweeps done.
Went to see Combe House today for our wedding night. The Linen room which we were originally going to see wasn't as impressive as we thought, so we asked to view some of the other rooms as the hotel is beautiful and the service was great. They were more then happy to show us around. We have now booked the Willington Room. It has a 4 poster bed and is lush.
We also recieved the menus from Coal's Bar and Grill, The party menu sounds great and it's only £19.95 per person for a three course meal. It sounds really nice.

Change of plan
Well we've completely changed our wedding reception plans, much to the disappointment of the wedding coordinator at the hotel.
I had been asking since September to taste our wedding menu to ensure we were happy, finally managed to pin her down and went to taste it on Tuesday. She had warned me before that there would be the majority of the menu available but not all of it, which I said was fine as long as we were happy with most of it. So we go along armed with the menu which we would be having. There was a lot on the menu which wasn't available for us to taste so for reasons only known to them they substituted it for other items available which we would not be having for our reception. This involved potato salad etc, I said to the waitress does this have dairy in? (they already knew apart from the quiche the menu was to be dairy free) she admitted there was a lot which had dairy in so went and did a new plate for me. COLD MEAT AND SALAD!!!! Not being funny but I know what these things taste like, I wanted to taste the items that I didn't know what they tasted like grr. Carley (the wedding coordinator) came over and was making so many feeble excuses and guilt trips, I got quite upset but so that she didn't see this I excused myself to the ladies and cried. By the time I had composed myself and gone back Tony and Carley had reached a compromise (although it seemed as though we were doing all the compromising) .
Carley left us to it and me and Tony had a serious talk and both admitted we were starting to dread the reception. We were going to cancel.
I went and sat in the car whilst Tony went to tell Carley she was no longer required she wanted to discuss it but Tony made it very clear it was not open for discussion and left. We hadn't even got home when she tried to phione both our mobiles to discuss the situation. Not going to happen. We may have lost £450 but we have gained the excitement of our wedding day back!!
We have now booked Coal's Bar and Grill for our reception which is going to be a nice meal with just they ceremony people which has also put Tony's mind at rest as he was finding it difficult to find the line where inviting work mates was concerned, unfortunately with a place like that it's very much if I invite that person then I'll have to invite them, it tends to snowball and you end up having people around that you don't really want.
I feel ready to have Crumpet any day now. For the last couple of days I've been getting a lot of pressure and nerve pain, it even got to the point yesterday when we were in town that we had to leave because every10 seconds I was yelping in pain. I've also had a bad couple of nights sleep, last night I woke up feeling really sick (but wasn't). I've started drinking raspberry leaf tea to help with my muscles it's actually quite nice. Come on Crumpet, Mummy and Daddy are getting impatient now.

I feel crap!
In 2006 I got diagnosed with Herpes, thankfully I haven't had a bad episode since, until now that is!! For the past two days I've barely been able to walk, sit or lay, and of course it's a weekend so no doctors surgeries are open to get any medication or anaesthetic gel. I'm going to make a doctors appointment tomorrow morning hopefully they'll have something I can use during pregnancy. I will also need to discuss whether I need to think about a caesarean as I can't have a natural labour if I have symptoms and as I am 36 weeks tomorrow I am nearly full term and could go into labour any time. Tony bless him is trying to help me as best as he can but unfortunately there's nothing much he can do except help make me feel as comfy as possible. If only I could change my past but still end up where I am now just without the Herpes.

Good or Bad day??
As well as the prospect of being a Mother and Wife this year I also have the amazing news that I'm going to be an Aunty, I couldn't be happier for Debbie although it does mean she may not make it to our wedding as she is due 6th August, but it will be a great wedding present.
I went on a bit of a cleaning spree yesterday, did the washing up, 2 loads of washing and drying, cleaned the
kitchen and I put all of Crumpets clothes away. It continued for a bit today as I hoovered downstairs and Tony finished upstairs and cleaned the oven which is a mammoth task.
Had to take Buddy to the vets today for a check-up as he keeps chewing his paws and tail, they emptied his anal glands which he really didn't enjoy poor puppy but it seems to have worked as he hasn't chewed them yet this evening. On our way to the car I noticed someone had tried to break in to my car last night (we wondered why the woofer was barking last night) thankfully they weren't successful, Tony talked me into called our local police number, they came out and took our information and had a look at the car. They then went to some of our neighbours to ask if anyone had seen or heard anything last night, I don't think they did but one of our neighbours came round to find out what happened as he was in the shower and said that we all need to stick together and look out for each other which was really kind of him. We've decided to get a security light as our drive way can be very dark. The police thinks it was an opportunist rather then a professional as the way it was done wouldn't have got much of a result. It has shaken me up a little bit though, I think it's worse because of my hormones.
I've had an awful time the last few days with Mothercare, we ordered a travel system before Christmas to arrive 5th January. They phoned to rearrange due to weather issues which was fine. The delivery date came and went with no delivery so I went into the shop to find out why, apparently the balance needed to be paid before delivery (this wasn't explained very well when we ordered) so I paid it all and just had to phone them to arrange delivery, I phoned them when I got home and they said it was listed to come out on Monday. That was fine by me. Monday came and I phoned them at about 7pm to ask when it was going to arrive and guess what there was a mess-up the spreadsheet said Monday, the work book said Tuesday, I was starting to get annoyed at this point so she phoned the Taunton store and they said they'd get one sent out by taxi that evening. IT DIDN'T ARRIVE GRR. So I phoned them this morning to complain AGAIN, they assured me Taunton were going to use a different taxi company which will collect the pram at 11.30. Finally some luck it had arrived but I wanted some money back for my phone bills, I kept getting promised a callback from a manager but never got one so I got to the point of phoning again and asking for the CEO's name and address which I got with no problems. The door bell then went and guess what... it's our original delivery. We now have 2 travel systems identical to each other umm lol. We've decided if Mothercare don't realise their mistake we will give the extra one to Debbie and Paul, she's really excited about it she loves it.
So to sum up has it been a good day or bad??

False labour
Well another visit to hospital, I went in on the 30th Dec came back out 2nd Jan. I started off being at Exeter but they didn't have a neonatal cot available so they had to transfer me to a place where there was a cot and bed available, the closest hospital to have both bed and cot available was Basingstoke. Joyful!!! My contractions were stronger and more regular then last night and in 3 hours I went from being 1cm dilated to being 3cm's they really thought this time Crumpet would arrive, alas he did not grr. The midwife suggested at 4am that I called Tony (he was still in Cully) to get to the hospital as soon as he could, OH MY GOD!!! But by 10am the next day my contractions had pretty much stopped only getting the odd one which barely registered on the monitor.
Tony had managed to get Buddy across to the Island for Mum and Dad to look after with the help of Marty and Becky so that he could stay at the hospital accommodation without worrying about the woofmeister.
Once I had been discharged we went and stayed on the Island at Geraldine's for a couple of days which was great, we got to see James and Emma as well as my Mum and Dad. Geraldine made one of her yummy dairy free marble cakes and another one for us to take home with us Mmmmmmmmmm!!!! I didn't really want to come home but it would've been too awkward for coming home or if I went into labour and Tony was in Exeter. So we came to the conclusion it was best if I came home with Tony and Buddy.
My wonderful fiance has just ordered me a pink nintendo ds lite from amazon and three games, not too happy with Amazon though, Tony clicked on the standard delivery 3-5 days and once he had agreed to it a sign came up with a delivery date of MARCH!! Stupid Amazon, poor Tony feels bad though. I love him lots x
