Sunday We all went for a trip to Wolverton, Shorwell. There was a fair on which reminded me of Southampton Balloon fest in the good days. Mum and Dad were there doing a stand for G&S as they are doing Pirates of Penzance and need to get some more young men, Mum apparently decided not to let a young man escape and chased after him, she's such a floozy. Me and Tony went on the Sea Kayaks, they are really hard work and very uncomfortable to sit on, it probably didn't help that the wetsuit only just fit me and I got soaked, I was walking around with a wet bum the rest of the day. We also entered into a Have-a-go Agility course with Buddy, he was such a cheat but we got there in the end. We then went shopping and back to the van to have dinner, we had a stirfry but I couldn't quite eat it all. Geraldine had invited us to go to the Sloop in Wootton for a quiz, unfortunatly we got there and the quiz wasn't on but I saw the carvery and decided I was hungry again, so I had my second dinner of the evening, piggy or what lol.
Monday Took Buddy for a long walk in Cowes, he was knackered when we got him back.
Tuesday Tony took Buddy for a walk in Cowes whilst I went to Newport to look for Maternity clothes, what a waste of time that was. I drove back to East Cowes to put the shopping away then walked over to Cowes to meet my boys and went to Tony's Grandads.
Wednesday We took Buddy Boy to Ryde beach today, he had a great time and met a couple of dogs, one of which decided his ball looked like fun Buddy tried to chase after him but the dog was a whippit x greyhound so was very fast of his feet, I don't think Buddy liked that he kept chasing him and started giving little yelps as if to say "Give me my ball back". We managed to get it back thankfully. In the evening we had Mum and Dad come round for dinner, we had chinese it was yummy. Then we played Scrabble Trickster which of course Dad won.
Thursday Took Mum to the Wight Mouse for lunch today, I ended up getting upset as usual because I couldn't eat half the menu, all in all I think we were all pretty dissapointed. We then took Buddy for a fun down on Compton Bay, it was great he really enjoyed himself digging up the sand and chasing an old tennis ball we found. In the evening I left Tony and Buddy to it and went to see Bry and Hannah in Cowes, we decided to meet up at the Waterside. We had such a laugh especially on the games machine. Then took Hannah home and Bry came back to the van to see Tony and Buddy and played dominos
Friday Had a fairly lazy day. Went to Cowes to Trinity Theatre as they had a rehearsal for Wizard of Oz, had a laugh with Wayne, Abbie and Pete.
Saturday Had to leave the van by 10am today. So went round to Mum and Dad's and waited for them to finish work. Once they had both seen Buddy again Tony took him to the kennels whilst I had a sleep on the sofa, had generally a lazy day but then went off to a ghost vigil at Shanklin Theatre, I was so scared but really wanted to do it. It started at 10pm and ended at 4am. It was amazing. especially on the stage Sarah (the Medium) picked up on a man who was very strong and a couple of times tried to take over different people. Sarah also picked up a young boy who I can't stop thinking about. She told us he wanted to say hello and felt when he was alive he didn't feel appreciated for the work he did. I decided I wanted to say hello, as soon as I thought this I got really hot, Sarah told me to go and sit down and have some water, I immediately cooled down. Sarah later said to me it was because I am extra sensitive because I'm preggers and also the boy was close to me because I'm going to be a Mummy. She rubbed my bump and says she knows what sex our baby is and that he's going to be long, she thinks that by the time he's 10/11 he'll be patting me on the head. I'm interested to see if this is true.
Sunday Home time, we were on the 5.30pm ferry which was full of bloody Bestival people who were all smelly and filthy eurgg. Buddy was quiet the whole way home which was amazing. Holiday over back to normality and not as many bacon sarnies (we had one every morning :D )
